Who am I? In my spare time I
enjoy playing softball and coaching my children in their recreation leagues.
I also enjoy camping, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family
and friends.
I graduated from Covington High School in 1989. I attended Louisiana College in Pineville, LA for three years. I then transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Health Studies with a concentration in Education. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Education in Administration and Supervision with a concentration in Educational Technology. I will graduate with my Master's Degree in May, 2003. I will continue pursuing a Master's Plus 30 in the spring. I am currently certified as a Technology Facilitator and I am an American Red Cross Instructor. I am a member New Zion Baptist Church where I am active in Sunday School and serve on the recreation committee. My husband and I are volunteer coaches for the Covington Recreation Department in volleyball, basketball, and softball. I also assisted with a cheerleading squad for a 9-10 football team.
I am looking forward to a great year. I have been teaching in St. Tammany Parish for the past 6 1/2 years. I taught at Covington Elementary and Madisonville Elementary for a half of year immediately following graduation. I then taught for the past 6 years at Sixth Ward Junor High School. I taught 3rd through 8th grade Physical Education. During the time I taught at Sixth Ward I also coached Girls Volleyball, Softball, and Basketball. For more information on the Creekside Physical Education Department and their policies see the PE Department Page. I would like to recognize my 2nd hour class. They are the BEST! This class has dressed out every day for the entire nine weeks. Great Job! Keep up the good work!!
